My Favorite Authentic Bengali food joints in Delhi

Since Durga Puja is coming I can't stop my self thinking about awesome, authentic Bengali cuisine.
Bengali cuisine is mostly famous for serving delicacies of fish and sweets. Its been said that no meal is complete if there is no fish and the sweet. Each and every Bengali has the sweet tooth and if someone says we dont have I dont believe them , may be because of certain reason they may be not taking the sweet but saying that they dont relish sweet thats next to impossible.

When Durga Puja is around I think no hardcore Bengali can stop them-self from thinking about relishing the yummy food sold in Puja Pandals. At this time all the diet is kept in the corner and party mode is on.

My favorite food is specially at the time of Durga Puja is Muglai Parotha and Mangshor Ghugni . That is something I cant stop my self ....

At this time I have only two things in my mind roaming around the city looking at different Puja Pandals and enjoying some of the authentic Bengali dishes.

And also when talking about durga puja how it is possible that we will miss talking about Bhoger Khichadi it is something that no matter how much you cook at home but that flavor which you get while puja you wont get it anywhere in the world and I bet no one can resist this best dish served in puja pandals  not only Bengali even the non-Bengali cant resist it .

Me and my family we not only love to hang around the city in different Puja Pandals we also love to eat our favorite dishes.

Some of the places which serves finger licking bengali food in delhi you can try out and I bet you will not be disappointed.

1) Bijoli Grill ( Bengali Food stall )  @Delhi Heart INA-
Their Special Thali is awesome just try it once specially who love eating macher paturi - fish steamed with mustered paste inside banana leaf.

 2) Biojli Grill @Banga Bhavan 3 Haily Road Mandi House-
Their Kosha Mangsho with Parotha and Ilish ( Hilsa Thali ) in which they served Hilsa cooked           with 3 to 4 varieties is awesome and dish to die for die-heart Hilsa lovers.

3) Oh Calcutta @ Nehru Place
They have ala-carte and buffet system , its all up-to you what you want to opt for I always prefer         buffet since you get so many varieties to relish at a very reasonable price . Their Lemon chicken         awesome you should try at-least once.

4)  Annapurna Hotel @ Market 1 CR Park
This place is good for tasty and in budget Bengali food. Their food tastes more of home made and      its quiet good. You can visit this place too for tasteing their shorsher Ilish its Yum.

and last but not the least when you visit CR Park dont forget to munch on the famous phuchcas  ( Bengali version of Golgappa/Panipuri) and of course the yummy sondesh.

This was my take on Bengali authentic food , whats yours , if you know more places where one can go and relish these delicacies pls do share your suggestions are most welcome....
