One weekends its really a task for me to be in the kitchen . Because everyone wants something different some doesn't want fried some want light breakfast and some like my kiddo want something Chatpata. So the search begins to make some thing different the biggest demand from my little one is mamma dont make something which you have made previously make something different .
So this was my Sunday breakfast . Because what I feel that that the food should be tasty and healthy as well.
So lets get started :-

So lets get started :-
For Palak Puri-
- Spinach - 250 grams ( Cleaned well)
- Ajwain ( Carom Seeds )-2 pinches
- Black Pepper Powder - 1/2 tsp
- Salt - to taste.
- Water -1 cup
- Wheat Flour - 2 cups.
- Oil- For frying
Procedure :-
- Boil the Spinach leaves for 5 minutes and then take them out and dip them in cold water.
- Now take them our from cold water and put it in the mixture and make a fine paste out of it.
- take the flour in a plate add carom seeds ,salt and black pepper powder and 2 tsp oil and mix it well and make a soft dough with the spinach paste and when needed add some water as well.
- Your dough is ready now .
- Now make small balls out of the dough and roll them into small circles.
- Switch on the gas keep a pan over it and pour oil and let the oil get hot.
- Once the oil is hot dip dip the puris made out of dough and frying them one medium flame .
- once little golden take them out on an absorbent paper.
For Tamarind Aloo:-
- Potatoes - 2 Nos ( Boiled )
- Onion - 1 Nos ( Sliced)
- Garlic - 7 to 8 cloves ( Finely Chopped)
- Ginger -1 inch ( Finely Chopped)
- Dry Red Chili - 2 nos
- Curry Leaves - few
- Tamarind - 1 tsp ( Soaked in water )
- Mustered Seeds - 1 tsp
- Cumin seeds -1tsp
- Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
- Red Chili Powder -1 tsp
- Coriander Powder -1 tsp
- Garam Masala -1/2 tsp
- Salt - to taste
Procedure :-
- Cut the boiled potatoes in cubes and keep them aside .
- Switch on the gas keep the pan over it and add 1 tbsp oil to it.
- once the oil is hot add dry red chili along with some cumin , mustered seeds , and curry leaves.
- once they start spluttering add the masalas except garam masalas and mix them well and then add the water of the tamarind to it and give it a good stir.
- Once the water boils add the potatoes to it and keep them on medium flame for next 5 to 7 minutes.
- After five minutes switch off the gas , add the salt and garam masala to it and give it one last good stir.
- Now your tamarind Aloo is ready to be served with your Palak Puri.
