Gawar Patata ( Cluster bean with potato ) Sindhi cuisine.

I have not very good memories of this dish unless I invented my own way and today in my family means my husband and my son they both like it , My son is one person to whom it is not easy to feed any vegetable he is very fix with his taste and he loves the flavour of strong garlic. I remember my mother used to make it by boiling the chopped cluster beans in a pressure cooker and then squeezing them out and after that make it with potatoes and tomatoes but somehow I never liked the recipe to me cluster beans used to taste as if I am eating boiled grass and I used to criticise my mom and continuously asking her not to make this dish. but since my grandfather used to like this a lot and he was the one who used to bring vegetables while coming from his shop in evening so whatever he used to bring my mother used to cook and it was his favourite so who will stop him from not bringing. but once one of my cousin visited our house and my mother had to wash plenty of clothes, at that time we did not have washing machine and my mother used to wash cloths with hand so she asked my cousin if she can make the veggie for the after noon lunch and she was obliged she made the cluster beans which I liked she did not boiled them she directly cooked them on low flame and they turned out to be good at-least better then the boiled grass flavour . then I was telling my mother to cook the cluster beans the way my cousin made and you know what she did , she told me you like it that way then you make it I will make it the way it is comfortable to me . so this way I learned this dish but the addition to the vegetable from my side was the garlic , lots of garlic that strong flavour is somewhat liked by everybody in my family and when after marriage I made this dish my complete family of in-laws they fell in love with it I never knew they are also a garlic lover..
