Here is my take on few restaurant and their food..
Shri MishriLal Hotel
After visiting Jodhpur this was the first place I visited for having snacks , somebody told us about their Makhaniya Lassi so first thought came into my mind was must be some sweet and creamy lassi on which some Makahanas must be floating since I love Makahana ( Lotus seeds ) I was attracted towards the place so when we reach there we ordered there famous Makahniya Lassi but when I first saw it I was disappointed because I couldn't see my floating Makahanas over it and when I tasted it I tasted like more of a condensed milk to me so I told my husband to finish it and I ordered Mirchi Ka Bada , and I must say this was my Jackpot since I love Mirchi ka bada a lot whenever I used to Visit Delhi Haat in Delhi I always visit the Rajasthan stall to have Mirchi Ka bada along with Kuladh wali chai so how is it possible when in Rajasthan I will not eat my favourite Mirchi ka bada and why I am calling it Jackpot for me because I have never tasted such tasty Mirchi Ka bada before , I have been to many places in Rajasthan like, Jaipur , Udaipur Ranthambore any many more but I have never ever tasted this tasty Mirchi Ka bada any where and I can go to Jodhpur again and again to eat Mishri Lal ka Mirchi ka bada , and my son liked their Dal Kachori , so when I was there for three days I visited there consecutively to have their Mirchi ka bada and as far as their Makahniya Lassi is concerned we were having it also and later I also developed a taste for it but my luck till the time I developed the taste it was time to go back. So if you are not diet conscious go and have a feast @Shir Mishir Lal Hotel ( Near Clock Tower ) Jodhpur.

Gypsy food Restaurant - Jodhpur
This place was so far so good, we ate at few more restaurants but this restaurant we found the best , we were in Jodhpur for 3 days and we ate dinner for 2 days here in Gypsy . They have 2 outlets one is called gypsy food restaurant and other one is The family dhaba , we visited the family dhaba because our driver told us that at restaurant the Rajasthani thali is good but at dhaba you will get the other varieties too so we opted for The family dhaba and that place was too good as good as its name gypsy very colorful , will take you to the different worlds in one go. and food was very good.
So do visit this place it is indeed a very nice place to have your favourite food along with food some quality time with the family.Their thali was good and my son liked their hakka noodles they were little spicy according to me but I dont know my son was just licking the plate and he wanted to go again there for the noodles only . Like mother Like son.. and one more thing I found very different type of Masala Rumali Roti , on first day when we were having our dinner a group of students came and ordered several items on their table along with this Rumali Roti I was surprised to see the shape and asked the waiter about the dish and he told me this is Masala Rumali so next day we also ordered but like it looks really beautiful when one the plate the taste was not so far good and it was really difficult for me and my husband to finish , so make sure when you order it you people should be more then two else is your take..

Cafe On The Rocks
My husband is a hardcore non vegetarian and how is possible when in Rajasthan he will not eat their famous Lal Mass ( Red meat ( Goat ) cooked in spices ) . so we asked our driver and he suggested two three places and one of them was this place called On The Rocks when we were coming back from Umaid Bhavan this place was on the way so we opted to have our lunch at this place . The place is really beautiful with the beautiful ambiance , but when it comes to the food we were not satisfied , we ordered Lal mass and for the price the quantity was very less and the taste was very mild and or would say for me it was bland. and what I observed from the place it is basically for the foreign tourist they have made the food so mild but we Indians love spices and Lal mass for me should be spicy enough that it should turn your ears red only then you can enjoy so for we Indian I think we should look for some other place to have Lal Mass when in Jodhpur more over other dishes we ordered were ok but yes my little munchkin enjoyed there because it was decorated really beautifully and more over very child friendly ..

There are other options too but in this short span of time I could visit only few places but these were the eating points I thought are must to share ..
So this was my take on eating joints in Jodhpur ..
