Pizza Pockets

This dish I invented at home for my son.
My son loves eating pizza more or less on every weekends but being a mother is not easy task .
If I say no he tries to blackmail me emotionally by  showing his puppy face. By looking into his twinkling eyes its becomes really impossible for me to say no to him but as everybody knows pizza most of the time is not healthy so I invented this healthy option which is easy and quick moreover its healthy.

Pizza Pockets 

So lets get started :-

Ingredients .

For the dough

Wheat flour - 1 Cup
Water for making dough
Carom seeds : 1/2 tsp
Salt - 2 Pinch
oil -1/2 tsp

For the filling

Capsicum - 1 nos ( finely chopped)
Mushroom - 6nos ( cut into small pieces)
Onion - 1 nos ( Finely chopped)
Tomato-1 nos ( finely chopped )
Cheddar Cheese - 100 gm grated
Tomato Sauce - 2 tbsp ( for spreading)

Procedure :

  1. To the flour add carom seeds , salt and oil mix it well and then kneed the dough.
  2. Keep the dough aside by covering it up with the muslin cloth for 10 minutes.
  3. And in the mean time chop all the vegetables.
  4. Now switch on the gas and keep the tawa over it and let it get hot on low flame.
  5. till the time roll a chapati with dough and cook it completely from one side and keep it aside 
  6. Same make one more chapati and cook it as well from one side only.
  7. Now spread the ketchup on the cooked side of one chapati and spread the vegetables one by one over it and top of it sprinkle the cheese and also if you want you can sprinkle mixed herbs as well.
  8. After this cover it with the another chapati while  keeping the cooked side  inside.
  9. And now stick both the chapatis with the help of folk ( Just press the folk in a slanting way it will get stick if not you can apply the paste of all purpose flour to it )
  10. Spread little bit of butter on the tawa and keep the stuffed chapatis over it and let it cook on low flame . 
  11. Cover the Tawa .
  12. Now turn the chapati on the other side and cook it completely . If required apply little bit of butter.
  13. Your Healthy Pizza pockets are ready to be served.
  14. Cut it into half and serve it with Tomato Ketchup or Schezwan Sauce.
