Aloo Jhuri Bhaja - Grated Potato fries ( Bengali Cuisine)

Aloo Jhuri Bhaja is a Bengali side dish which is usually served with Daal and Rice.
if you dont have any veggies it tastes good with Daal and steamed Rice.
I usually make this when my little one  wants to have Daal Chawal . he loves these crispy potato fries . Why only little one it is even loved by the elders.



so lets get started:-

Ingredients:

  1. 3-4 potatoes 
  2. Oil for frying
  3. Salt : to taste
Procedure:
  1. Wash and grate the potatoes and wash the grated potato in a tap water for 2 to 3 times now in a bowl take some water and dip the grated potato for 10 minutes ( approx).
  2. Now Heat oil in a pan for deep frying . 
  3. Till the time oil is getting hot take out the grated potato from the water squize very will and drop them in oil and fry them until they change their color to little golden and crispy.
  4. Now drain the fried potatoes on paper towel and transfer them to a serving tray.
  5. Sprinkle some salt over it and mix it well.
Your Aloo jhuri bhaja is ready to serve.
